How to make a blank name
Pick the right invisible character for your game
For Free Fire OB54, tap the 'Free Fire OB54 blank space' card (U+00A0). For PUBG, Mobile Legends and social media, tap 'Large blank' — Braille Blank U+2800. Don't use U+3164 for Free Fire: it has been blocked since OB43.
Open the game and go to the rename screen
Go to Profile → Edit → tap your current name. You need a rename card in the game to apply a new name.
Delete the old name and paste the blank character
Clear the old name and paste the copied invisible character. Don't edit it afterwards, or the hidden character may be lost. Insert it in the MIDDLE of the name if the game strips leading/trailing spaces.
Confirm the change
Tap OK to finish. Your name will appear blank (or spaced) in the game and on leaderboards.

- Arena of Valor: No-Break Space + Hangul Filler work, but nothing is guaranteed after each update.
- Games can change their whitespace filters at any time. Test before spending a rename card.
Invisible character FAQ
Invisible characters are Unicode characters (like No-Break Space U+00A0, Braille Blank U+2800, Hangul Filler U+3164) that look like empty space but are treated as valid characters by games. They let you create blank names or insert wide gaps into game names. Note: each game accepts different characters, and the rules can change with every update.
Tap the 'Free Fire OB54 blank space' card (U+00A0) at the top of this page to copy it, open Free Fire → rename screen, delete your old name, paste the character in the MIDDLE of the name and confirm. Since OB43, Free Fire has BLOCKED U+3164 (Hangul Filler), which many older guides still recommend — use U+00A0 instead. You need a rename card.
Insert it in the MIDDLE of the name (e.g. Pro⠀Player). Many games automatically strip blank characters at the start or end of a name, so the middle is the safest spot.
Either you edited the name after pasting, or that game doesn't support that particular character. Paste without editing, and try another character (Braille Blank is usually the most reliable).
Yes. You can use blank characters to create empty names/bios or align text on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and WhatsApp. Braille Blank and Hangul Filler work well on most social platforms.
Free Fire tightened its whitespace filter in patch OB43 and blocked Hangul Filler (U+3164) — previously the most popular choice. As of OB54 (2026), the invisible character that still works reliably in Free Fire is No-Break Space (U+00A0). Many old guides haven't been updated and still recommend U+3164, which causes the 'invalid name' error. PUBG and some other games still accept U+3164 — every game has its own rules.
Usually one of three reasons: (1) you used a blocked character like U+3164 — switch to U+00A0; (2) the blank is at the START or END of the name — Free Fire strips it, insert it in the MIDDLE; (3) you edited the name after pasting and lost the hidden character — paste it directly without editing. Use the 'Advanced invisible name generator' above and select your game to get automatic warnings.
Use the 'Check a rejected name' tool on this page: paste your name and it will detect every blank/invisible character, show its type (U+xxxx), its position in the name and which games still accept it. If the column for your game shows ✗, that character is blocked — that's why the name is rejected. Rebuild the name with the generator to use a valid character.

How to create a blank name in games
A blank name (invisible name) is a popular trick in mobile gaming communities. By using invisible Unicode characters, you can create a completely empty name in Free Fire, PUBG Mobile and other games.
Braille Blank (U+2800) is an effective choice for PUBG, Mobile Legends and social media because it is recognized as a valid character while rendering as pure empty space. Newer Free Fire versions require a different character — see below.
Blank name for Free Fire OB54
Free Fire keeps tightening its whitespace filter with every OB patch. Hangul Filler (U+3164) — previously the most popular blank character — has been blocked since OB43, so many older guides no longer work. As of OB54, the invisible character that still works reliably in Free Fire is No-Break Space (U+00A0). If the game strips blanks at the start or end, insert the character in the MIDDLE of the name (e.g. Pro FF). Note: PUBG still accepts U+3164 — each game has its own rules, so pick your game in the tool above.
How to add wide spaces inside a game name
Beyond fully blank names, you can use invisible characters to create wide gaps between letters, align your name, or add an empty tail after it. Use the invisible name generator above, choose the "Spaced letters" or "Half blank" style and select your game so the counter warns you when you exceed the character limit. Invisible characters also work on Facebook, TikTok and Instagram for blank bios and text alignment.
